It’s almost fall, and that means fall events here in the Lake Forest area! Kicking it off this year is an event that benefits nature, along with live music with Dirty Bird.<\/h3>\n

On the 25th of September 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Lake Forest will have the Lake Forest Open Lands' Bagpipes & Bonfire<\/p>\n

Where: Lake Forest, Illinois, 60045 Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve 1401 Middlefork Dr.<\/p>\n

Play games, do crafts, and enjoy entertainment for all ages as you celebrate this autumnal ritual! Enjoy a free doughnut from Billy the Truck at Firecakes Donuts. Gather around the community campfire to enjoy the warmth while watching the Highland Games and the marching pipers on the field!<\/p>\n

Join us for a lovely picnic luncheon sponsored by LFOLA as an Order of the Tartan or Patron. Alternately, bring your own food and beverages to the community picnic and participate.<\/p>\n

Through outreach and land stewardship, Bagpipes & Bonfire proceeds support LFOLA's objective to connect everyone to nature.<\/p>\n
